Meet new Family Nurse Practitioner Renae Richardson

Renae Richardson, FNP is a primary care provider at the Fordland Clinic in Kimberling City, MO. She provides comprehensive healthcare for individuals and families across the lifespan. Care ranges from prevention such as vaccinations and screenings to treatment of acute and chronic conditions. She takes a holistic approach to traditional medicine, believing that the cornerstones of healthcare are excellent diet and exercise.

Renae is originally from Branson, MO and spent her growing up years on Table Rock Lake. In 2012, she began her nursing education at Ozarks Technical Community College, then obtained her Bachelor of Science degree at Southwest Baptist University. She practiced as a medical-surgical nurse in Branson and Springfield, MO for five years, then continued to pursue her passion for nursing by enrolling at Cox College in Springfield, MO, where she obtained her Master of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP).

Renae says, “my favorite thing about being a Family Nurse Practitioner is finding individuals and families the help they need and answers to their sometimes-difficult questions.” She values listening to the patient and feels it is important that every patient’s health concerns be heard.

Whether Renae is practicing in the clinic or continuing her education learning the everchanging medical landscape, she always strives to put her patients’ needs first.
