covid-19 testing imageTo prevent COVID-19 from spreading to family, friends and the community it is recommended that anyone with symptoms or who has been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19 be tested. A person does not have to be exhibiting symptoms in order to receive the testing.

COVID-19 symptoms include fever or chills, cough, shortness of breath or difficulty breathing, fatigue, muscle or body aches, headache, new loss of taste or smell, sore throat, congestion or runny nose, nausea or vomiting, diarrhea.  If you have been in close contact with someone who has COVID-19, it is best to wait at least 5 or 6 days after exposure for a more accurate test result.

Fordland Clinic is offering COVID-19 nasal swab testing to the general public at both clinic locations.  Tests are sent to a laboratory for processing.  Results are typically received within 3 to 4 days.

Contact one of the Fordland Clinic locations to schedule appointment.
